Why do I do what I do? That's an important question for anyone looking to work with me as a practitioner, but also in terms of how I want to drive the growth of Empower Acupuncture, not just as a business, but as something of value to the community, especially those in the Boroughs of Merton and Sutton, where I am based.
Prior to becoming a full time acupuncturist, I worked extensively in the charity/ nonprofit sector, and one of the things common across most if not all charities (and any business worth their salt, in fact), is having a clear mission and vision behind what they do. So I wanted to do the same, and set out a specific Mission and Vision behind Empower Acupuncture...
I want it to be more than just a treatment space - I want it to mean more than that, so for now, this is how I envisage the vision behind the practice.
Purpose
To provide a safe and welcoming space for anyone wanting to improve their health and wellbeing through Traditional East Asian Medicine*.
Mission
To provide access to high quality, holistic health and wellness services for all
To promote TEAM as a means of preventative health in maintaining long-term physical and mental resilience and wellbeing.
If that sounds like something that resonates with you, then why not get in touch and see how we could work together to improve your health and wellbeing?
Find out how to get in touch, or if you're ready to book now then you can do so online here.
*I use the term "Traditional East Asian Medicine" here because although the foundation of what I do is grounded in TCM, I also draw from knowledge and practices from across Asia to create something that encompasses the the wealth of knowledge from across the region, including Japan, Korea and South East Asia.
